Cliste Rekayasa Indonesia is opening an opportunity for a Social Media Video Editor Apprentice to join our Branding & Communication team.

Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex engineering and compelling storytelling. You will be responsible for translating technical briefs into engaging, high-impact visual narratives for all our social media channels, mastering both short-form and long-form formats. In this role, you will be working with engineering subject matter, and your job is to make it worth watching.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements) 

• Fun, creative, and energetic individual who brings genuine enthusiasm to every project 
• Junior (1 to 2 years) or Mid-Level (3 or more years) editing experience
• Expertise in professional video editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent applications).
• Proficiency in social media content creation and editing tools (e.g., CapCut, VN, InShot, Canva, or equivalent applications) for rapid content production.
• Demonstrated ability to read and execute content briefs
• Exceptional sense of narrative pacing, timing, and visual consistency 
• Awareness of current social media trends and the ability to apply them within a professional engineering brand context
• Portfolio is mandatory. Please submit via a shareable link (Google Drive, Notion, or personal website), including samples of short-form (TikTok/IG Reels/Youtube Shorts) and long-form content

What You Will Do (Job Description)

• Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and incorporate feedback to continuously improve content quality
• Produce high-quality videos across short-form (vertical) and long-form (horizontal) formats, covering cutting, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics
• Work directly with the Branding & Communication team to translate content briefs into compelling visual assets  
• Simplify complex engineering processes into clear, digestible narratives that maintain accuracy while maximizing engagement
• Craft video structure and pacing to ensure content is platform-optimized for maximum impact
